CAPONEU Policy Indications - Interim report, February 2025

Over the past year the Autonomy Institute has been holding research-to-impact workshops with the wider consortium, focusing on policy implications or interventions which might be drawn from our work on political novels. Two of these workshops have now been held, the first in November 2024 and the second in January 2025.
In the second of these workshops, participants were asked to brainstorm policy ideas related to their work in two strands: cultural policy and educational policy. This interim report gathers together and develops these policy proposals -- while offering some advice for their development. It should be read as a moment of dialogue between Autonomy and the wider consortium; an opportunity for reflection and feed-in, rather than a set of absolute or finished proposals.
This interim report will inform a third workshop to take place later this year, after which Autonomy will produce a final report with recommendations.
